Our history is steeped in the traditions of our food, music and Rastafarianism and he embodies them all. Natty was modeled from a giant of Jamaican Society, Mr. Robert Nestor Marley (Bob Marley) who continues to spread the word of peace, unity and respect for our fellow man through his music.
Natty is the perfect brand Ambassador, he is jovial, iconic and yes a Kidney Bean. Why a kidney bean? you may ask, well as referenced in the name of our company - Rice & Peas (kidney beans) is a staple of our food. It is almost served with every meal that you consume in Jamaica, so we chose to highlight our uniquely Jamaican staple.
Natty will be a feature of the company's ad and promotional branding and will make appearances at important events and company milestones.

Our Goal
Rice & Peas & Tings is a grab-n-go concept for delicious, authentic Jamaican Food. Our goal is to provide great tasting, wholesome, traditional Jamaican dishes, the way they are still made on the island (no fancy, new ingredients here)

Our Ingredients
The spices we use are imported directly from a small producer on the island which guarantees that there are no hidden additives like MSG. Our blend of curry is unique and adds a dynamic flavor to the meals.

Our Dishes
We serve only 5 basic dishes that are a staple in every home on the island, Curried Goat/Chicken, Brown Stew Chicken, Oxtail Stew and Vegetable Stew.
